Good morning, folks! Or, if you're pre-coffee - braiiiiiiiiiins.

I am looking for information from the community. I'm a member of a WoW community on LiveJournal (lolol) that has frequent requests for RP server resources and the like and I'm finding that I have less information 'bout TB than I thought I did - I'm a bit of a hermit, you see - and this is where you come in.

I have the websites for Bad Moon Rising, Harbingers of War (obviously), The Refuge and Curse, but I know there are more RP guilds than that floating about (others that I'm aware of are Zephyr Crew, Jacks of Trade, Dawnstrider Accord).

Here's what I'm looking for: I need guild information for RP and RP-friendly guilds, minus HoW (if I don't know about my own guild then I'm more of a hermit than I THOUGHT), including:

- Contacts
- RP status (light, medium, medium-heavy, heavy, RP-Friendly Raiding)
- Website (if any)
- General info (what they're about ICly, that sorta thing)
- Public channels, IC and OOC

My google-fu tends to fail and the information that's available here is pretty dusty (plus I'm in the middle of Conference season *eyes the pile of Photoshop files that are screaming for her attention*). Info can be sent to me at:

Did you remember the TB Wiki? I don't know how many people still use that (I don't, at the moment), but it's a great one, especially if you can get it active again.

Or are you only looking for guilds? Hm.

The wiki isn't my concern at this point and it's really more a user-driven thing - I have no control over it, it's not my domain, etc. I won't clean up the off-topic postings yet, but all I want right now is guild information as outlined in the original post. - RP status: RP-Friendly (Tamki is availible for any witch doctoring needs)

- General info: ICly it is not a guild. Just a title for Tamki and place to hide my gold from myself. Not open for joining.
- Public channels: None, though Tamki can often be found in TBDF

Steamwheedle Subsidiary (#42)

One of the many Steamwheedle Subsidiaries that are run and managed by non-Goblins, just so long as a majority of the profits go to the Cartel and the goblins in the end. This one in particular is chaired by Fexa Flamethorn, an eccentric Blood Elf millionaire. After the Scourge invasion, Fexa inherited the family’s fortune where she invested in earning her own Subsidiary from the Steamwheedle Cartel. Today, it is a booming business that focuses on munitions, mercenary resources, raw materials, real estate and romance novels.

The company focuses for a diverse number of projects which are either invested by the Cartel or in-house. Health insurance, dental plans and vacation pay are included with employment. Merchants, bureaucracy, inventors and mercenaries are welcome.

Phoenixflame Gazette

- General info:

Originally a Sin’dorei based gossip-based newspaper, the Gazette is now helmed by Octorie Fordwright. The paper sees publication a few times a week all over the Eastern Kingdoms and some parts of Kalimdor. “The Truth is Paramount” is the slogan of the paper, promising hard hitting stories and revealing reports.

In truth, it is a manipulative tool to control the masses. One used to undermine the Death Knight population from their integration into society and to usurp reputation from groups Octorie deems least deserving of it. At times some legitimate stories are published but not without some dramatic exaggeration. Just proof that you shouldn’t believe everything you read.

Uhh… we're an exploring and tavern owning guild. Tavern's called the Drunken Kodo and is in Ratchet, open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 PM to 11 PM, but that don't mean you gotta leave! You can always stay around after. We also do exploring, but that's been a bit held up by worldly things.

At the risk of oversteppin' mah bounds though, I'll throw this one out here.

General info - A semi-military band of undead bent on vengeance wrought upon the Bastard Prince and his unliving hordes. Though nominally under Sylvanas' command, the Outriders are fairly autonomous. Have an OOC channel, a few GBank tabs, and a tabard. Must be Forsaken or a risen Death Knight to join.

Hmmmm... I've been trying to think of other guilds that are outside of the normal circle of RP guilds that are involved in TBDF and I am, sadly, having a bit of a difficult time coming up with anything.

Well, since Rayen hasn't gotten around to posting it *pokepoke*...

Guild: The Refuge
Contacts: Rayen, Chrysalis (I can answer questions as well, but don't have invite privileges)
RP Status: Heavy

General info: Guildchat is IC, audio-only by means of engineered radios. We have an active OOC channel and a few gbank tabs. We have a campfire party every other Friday night at Sun Rock in Stonetalon, and the public is ALWAYS invited! Still not currently accepting Death Knights, though that may change for the right character/circumstances.

The Refuge is a home for those who have no place else to go, those who have been disowned, outcast, or are simply alone and wandering. The people of the Refuge treat one another as friends and family, live together, and all contribute what they can to the upkeep of the house, whether it's work, food, money, or moral support to their comrades. We're not a military force, and in fact even have a few pacifists among our ranks, but we do stand up for the Horde when our convictions call for it.

Also, though I won't post details about it unless he chooses to do so, Wyat/Juni has a separate vanity guild that functions as an informal security force for The Refuge.

Oh, and my and Jai's own little vanity guild...

Guild: The Ikari Clan

RP Status: Well, the characters in it are heavy RPers, but the guild itself is too small to have much in the way of guild RP.
Website: None.
General info: Blood elf only, a clan of thieves, spies, and assassins who hide in plain sight in the upper class of Silvermoon. Not really recruiting, but if you have a character that you think might fit in, give Jai or myself a poke and we'd consider it. Mostly just a guild tag to stop invitespam.

Haha, thanks. Rayen PM'd hers to me, too, but no problem - I haven't been updating here like I should be.

I won't be starting on the actual list 'til after next week, but I appreciate any and all info that people can give!

I think Syndicate of Secrets is at least RP-friendly.

However I haven't logged in, what, a month or more? So track down one of them and make sure. Alinor would be one person to ask.

- General: The Jacks is basically a mercenary themed guild. We do anything and everything for money kind of basis. You want clowns for a birthday party? Sure we'll do it. Want someone to save the cat in the tree? Sure! Want your ex knocked off so you can claim that health insurance policy? Alrighty! The jacks was formed more like a little group of friends who do just about anything.

Guild chat is IC and we have an OOC channel but nobody is really in it. It's kinda dead right now because a good handful of our members had IRL issues. three people lived together had their internet disconnected, one had college, one is in jappan ( thanks nissa! >) and two others quit WoW entirely. Oh and one other is on Moongaurd alot. :| So we're recruiting! Trying to pick things up right now. -cry-

To update the information I gave you, the new guild website for the Refuge is [the-refuge.guildlaunch.com]. We're still sort of in the process of moving things over, so Pardon Our Progress. *nodnod* Still got to get the CSS converted over to a Guildlaunch Happy Template.

Pretty as our custom-designed guildportal site was, it was just too slow and had too few features for what we were paying for it.

- General info: We're a tribally organized guild. We have lots of high level raiders, and lots of low levels and many many alts. I'm trying to get an RP event going at least monthly with the guild, it is my hope to soon advertise the RP event(s) to include more of the community.

RE: above someone mentioned RP guilds not recruiting. BMR doesn't actively recruit but we have an application process and currently are NOT closed. The main problem I have seen is that when folks apply with BMR they see or have seen HEAVY RP guild... and for the most part it's a build your own RP environment / story telling / writing - so something to be aware of.
